When it comes to a selfie we all know how to take one! Selfies are a common thing that everyone knows about and takes. It’s just not about taking your own picture but also with friends capturing every emotion that you go through and share with your friends through social media. It can be funny, pretty, sexy, weird and even scary or like a maniac! Admit it; you click it everywhere starting from the bathroom, in the car, at college, at the party and even when you are off to sleep. Scroll through your phone’s gallery and you will see what I mean! We take it without even realizing it! Sure it gets a little tiring sometimes when you try to take a perfect one and the cam ditches you or it’s night time and the flash is blinding or your friend photo bombs it. Trust me, my best friends are quite good at doing this but that never stopped me from click like a zillion selfies! A perfect shot is worth the numerous tries isn’t it? And come ‘on its fun! I have numerous friends who I Snapchat with everyday and let me tell you the selfies that I get are a whole new next level selfies! And it is perfectly normal. People may say it’s stupid to do so but who cares? We love it! Let’s just be happy and do what we are best at.
God, there is even a song about it and it’s a hit! What more do you need? So shall we? So pull out your phone/ tab, position yourself and say it in your mind like you always do “Okay now let me take a selfie!”
Also here are a few tips as to how to take the perfect selfie!
1. Stand in a place that gives a perfect angle with light i.e. you facing it. Be careful don’t blind or hit yourself under the sun or the lamp stand!
2. Now take your phone in your hand like it’s a burger! Yes four fingers at the back and let your thumb be the witness and doer of the great selfie! Taking selfies can get a little tricky so I suggest you to have a good camera. Take the Dell venue tablet for example; it’s so much easier to take with it. I know we all have iphones but then I have this friend who has the tablet and trust me we have a ball every time we pose! You may think the tablet is hard to handle but not with this one.
3. Now time to take a selfie. Want a pretty one? Smile or pout like everyone does! A sad one? Pucker a little! Cute? Show puppy face! Scary one? Imagine you are falling into a gutter! And lastly my favorite, the funny and weird one. Here I would like to tell you what my dad said recently when he saw me taking a selfie! “Act like you had a paralysis attack, make your face like someone just punched you out if nowhere and a little surprised ‘OMG you’ look and that does it!”
